The Circular Plastics Alliance aims to boost the EU market for recycled plastics to 10Mt by 2025. The alliance covers the full plastics value chains and includes 282 organisations representing industry, academia and public authorities. New stakeholders can join the alliance by signing its declaration. EuRIC, AIMPLAS, TNO, VTT and IPC are active partners/ thematic coordinators in this alliance.
CIMPA project has been selected as example of Good Practice in the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. This platform is a joint initiative by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee that brings together stakeholders active in the broad field of the circular economy in Europe.
Innovation Forum is an on-going clustering initiative, bringing together projects with policy makers, end-users, industry representatives, investors, start-ups and SMEs. CIMPA has been introduced in the 2022 and 2023 edition of the forum.
CIMPA, CIRCULAR FOODPACK, MERLIN, SOLREC2, REMADYL, BUDDIE-PACK, and R3PACK are the projects involved in this clustering initiative was launched in June 2022 to promote the innovative solutions being developed by EU-funded projects to boost plastics recycling and circularity
TERMINUS is a H2020 project which addresses the challenge of unlocking recycling and reuse of flexible multi-layer and multi-compounds packaging. TERMINUS consortium is represented by a cross-disciplinary team of renowned organisations from 8 European countries, including IPC (CIMPA coordinator) and Benkei.
