On the occasion of the first anniversary of the project, CIMPA has been presented in several events in june: ERC in Madrid, PRSE in Amsterdam and IndTech2022 in Grenoble.
European Recycling Conference (ERC) in Madrid
A dedicated session about CIMPA project took place during the ERC in Madrid, on 15 June, organized by CIMPA partner EuRIC and Federación Española de la Recuperación y el Reciclaje.
Álvaro Estrada (EVERSIA), Vanessa Gutiérrez (AIMPLAS), Sophie Sicard (PAPREC) and María Vera (EuRIC) introduced the project and discussed about the ongoing research towards the circularity of multilayer plastic films, from the waste management of the films to decontamination & recycling, to production.
The fourth edition of the ERC attracted more than 500 representatives of the recycling industry, bringing together top-level executives from companies, federations’ leaders and officials from EU institutions. The program included both keynote interventions about the latest policy developments and sessions dedicated to the most recycled and traded streams (metals, paper, tyres, textiles, plastics, etc.).
Plastic Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) in Amsterdam
CIMPA partners gathered at the Plastic Recycling Show Europe in Amsterdam, which took place on 22 and 23 June 2022. AIMPLAS, EuRIC, EVERSIA, TNO, PAPREC and Filigrade participated in the event and promote the H2020 project in their respective booths.
CIMPA partners could present their innovative solutions to a wide circle of stakeholders attending the event, from research institutes, industrial associations, to recycling organisations.
The PRSE is the dedicated exhibition, conference and awards for plastics recycling in mainland Europe. This edition had a total attendance of more than 5.000 over two days and attached over 200 exhibiting companies.
Conference on Industrial Technologies (IndTech2022) in Grenoble
CIMPA was presented during the Conference on Industrial Technologies IndTech2022, which took place on 28 and 29 June in Grenoble (France).
IPC- Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites- had a booth in the ECP4 Village, where CIMPA flyers were given to participants and a roll-up and poster about the project were displayed.
The ECP4 Village was a space dedicated to 16 projects and initiatives addressing topics such as the green transition, circularity and sustainability, among others.
Moreover, an interview and a presentation were made for the Directorate-General for Environment of the European Commission
