'Advancing the circularity of complex plastic films' CIMPA Final event.

To boost plastic circularity and meet the ambitious targets set by EU legislation, knowledge and solutions from R&I projects are essential.

Over the past three years, the EU-funded H2020 CIMPA consortium has developed innovative solutions to transform multilayer plastic waste from packaging and agricultural applications into circular and valuable resources.

This final event will showcase the key findings of the CIMPA project, along with clustering initiatives on circular plastics and recommendations from policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and NGOs on unlocking the potential of plastic film recycling. The event will conclude with a networking cocktail and a poster session highlighting new technologies to enhance plastics recycling.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the CIMPA project’s findings and engage with various stakeholders dedicated to advancing the circularity of plastic films.

What can you expect from this event?

  • Highlights of the main CIMPA project findings: from sorting to upgrading
  • Clustering initiatives for circular plastics
  • Discussions on challenges and policy developments to boost plastic film recycling
